It was almost an immediate improvement in the performance of the dish washer when the system was installed. All evidence of the white crusty calcium residue also disappeared. With well water and semi-annual flushes of the neighborhood water supply, I felt this system would catch any harmful materials that would be present. Between my two systems and the filter in the refrigerator itself, I see no need to purchase bottled water as our water tastes great. My Culligan water system has provided outstanding quality water since it was installed 6 years ago. My well water was saturated with iron and clay which created a real challenge.
